“Sometimes I Think about the cities” is a project composed by a series of photographs of the skylines of the megalopolis around the world in which an analogical cut and paste creates a new horizon made with the roofs of the skyscrapers. The project is an investigation on the decomposition of the photographic image in order to create a critical reading of the subject. A new level-zero from which start to think about the cities, their future development , the role of the suburbs, the way the web has changed our lives in cities, and so on. The goal of the project is to give a physical dimension to the photographic work in order to directly relate the work with the exhibition space, transforming the object from photographic to installative. |
